Rocking Boat is small, innovative and - we believe – much needed. Rocking Boat provides innovative, small group creative writing workshops for people who face literacy and other challenges. We have recently expanded into publishing books for children 0 – 12 years. Books to delight and to subtly educate. Rocking Boat aims to make a small, necessary contribution to a richer and most diverse world.

Our authors may well start by going through our workshops. Holly, Dom, Teo and Jaydin all had great ideas and ambitions but their literacy challenges stood in the way of them writing books in the traditional way. Rocking Boat is doing publications differently. We’re publishing books for 0 to 12 year olds, many of them authored by non-traditional authors who’ve written their books using non-traditional means.
